Silverfall are fronted by lead singer Jenny Bailey, hailing from Mexborough in South Yorks she brings a certain maturity and innocence, along with heartfelt lyrics, to her songs.

This album sampler is a perfect introduction to the band who have been touring extensively and have supported the likes of Ed Harcourt. The band have also recently appeared at The BCC Club and recorded a session for BBC 6 Music’s Bob Harris and interviewed on BBC Radio Sheffield three times. The band is currently in the studio working on their debut album with producer Ian Grimble (who co-produced the Travis hit singles 'Why Does It Always Rain' & 'Turn' amongst many other projects such as Siouxsie & The Banshees, The Beautiful South, Marc Almond, Everything But The Girl, Texas etc). They played the prestigious venue, The Stables in Milton Keynes to a rapturous audience in March and their next single release ‘Movies’ is scheduled for autumn.

The band conjures up comparisons to The Cranberries and The Sundays and Jenny’s voice in particular is a throw back to the likes of Stevie Nicks. Influences range from Fleetwood Mac, Blondie, Carole King, Eurythmics and Chris Martin.
