Elle Exxe for The Great Escape 2016

Its been an action packed 2015  here at Dawson Breed Music HQ with some very exciting events, and some not so exciting (like the website being down). We had Common Tongues playing various festivals including The Great Escape, and released their single New Moon. Rachael Sage returned for another summer of festivals, European gigs and a tour support with the legendary Judy Collins. Where did the year go? A summary

As we approach the end of the year here at DBM HQ we find ourselves asking the question, where did the year go? We've had showcase festivals like The Great Escape and Liverpool Sound City . Various summer festivals including Rachael Sage at Cornbury and Common Tongues at 2000Trees. A showcase summer party for A3 , a truly lovely visit to the fabulous Reeperbahn Festival where Common Tongues played a set in a bunker in Hamburg and two German tours. Festival Season kicking off with Liverpool Sound City and The Great Escape

In the last three weeks we've had Liverpool Sound City, Music Week Awards, Great Escape, and the Ivor Novello Awards with Common Tongues playing at fabulous venue Zanzibar for Liverpool Sound CIty on the same bill as Rae Morris, We Were Evergreen, Syd Arthur & Sunshine Underground. As always, LSC had some great panels with a couple of excellent sync panels. Networking with other delegates is always highly important at conferences and LSC is a great facilitator of networking. Early spring update at DBM

Pre orders are now available on iTunes for Common Tongues brand new EP Tether & Twine due for release April 15 2013.   We've had a very busy start to the year here at DBM.  Eurosonic Noorderslag (ESNS) in January is always a fantastic way to start the year, kicking off with the European Border Breaker Awards (EBBAs) and the European Festival Awards. And in February we had Rachael Sage  playing with Sadie & The Hotheads and a special performance by Common Tongues at the Apple Store, Regents Street, London to launch their single Solitary Thinker. Autumn Update

Summer 2012 has been a busy one here at DBM with Caffe Nero tours, festivals and the Olympics in London, 2012 has been pretty full on. Common Tongues have  had a particularly busy year with very successful trips playing Hasenschaukel at Reeperbahn Festival in Hamburg, Norwich Sound & Vision festival & conference and Sligo Live Festival in Ireland where they played 3 gigs at Fureys, Chapters and The Model,  and 3 live radio sessions on RTE1's John Murray READ MORE

It's been a busy time here at DBM HQ with barely the time to talk about it! Brighton’s Got Talent! And it’s all at The Great Escape!

The Great Escape took place May 12th for 3 days and we were there again, listening to the panels and the live music! This year the Alternative Escape had some of the strongest acts playing and who are emerging very nicely! Jake Morley played a truly mesmerising set at The Latest. Just the previous week he did a live session on the Janice Long show, and the BBC peeps loved it so much that Jo Whiley replayed that session on her show!
